NaNoWriMo

This year, I thought it was about time to tackle NaNoWriMo again. I did it a looooong time ago, so long that I don’t even think my story is on the site any more.

What is NaNoWriMo?! That’s a weird word…
Yeah, it definitely is. It stands for “National Novel Writing Month,” and it takes place during the month of November.

The idea is just that – write a novel in 30 days.

Taking a Walk

Walking is something I wasn’t able to do easily in the recent past. My shaking tremors were full body at times, and if they came on when I was walking, I would most fall with every step, my legs refusing to follow directions.

While my medications still don’t have me up to where I could say I feel normal, they are helping. And today, I decided it was time to get out of the house – I actually don’t leave particularly often, unless it’s to go somewhere with my husband.

Bead Pattern: Sakura Blossom ★★★

Sakura 桜「さくら」is the Japanese word for cherry blossom. They’re a symbol of Japan, and I can’t decide if they’re more famous than Mt. Fuji, but they certainly are everywhere. 

And while I’ve made small sakura before, I have never made one quite this size.
