Every single time I run out of inspiration, I always seem to fall back on Pokemon. I love the games, I love the designs, and you know, it’s just something that is easy to try when you need something, anything, to draw.
So now, I’ve started drawing Pokemon again. And, I’ve wanted to try doing more ink-style works like traditional Japanese brush paintings. I bought these amazing ink brushes a while back, and have been looking for more ways to use them.
So with this in mind, I started working on designing Pokemon in a kind of Yokai (ghost) style. And it seemed appropriate to start with ghost Pokemon.
Here are my first set of ghosts – a Ghastly, Duskull, Spritomb, and Chandelure. They’ll be up on products shortly, but for now, I have more Pokemon to draw!
